Where is one place on earth you've never been, but would love to visit? Why?
I'd love to visit India. It seems such a gorgeous, colorful, complicated place. I love the way that religion seems to permeate the cultural consciousness - I think that's something we're missing in the US. Gods know I don't speak the language and the food would probably be too spicy for me most of the time but I'd still love to see it.
I'd also love to visit Brazil, mostly for the music.

But there's really no need to speak the language at all. Most people you'd encounter speak English, usually quite well, and signs are often in English too - that British legacy. The variety of food there is pretty striking, and hotness varies quite a bit too. Most hotels have Western-style food, and chinese restaurants also exist.

I've never been India, but it would be a vacation of a life time kind of thing. And it's so huge, with so many different natural features. And such ancient traditions. I think it'd be totally fascinating.
