I love the way that religion seems to permeate the cultural consciousness - I think that's something we're missing in the US.
That's a really interesting way to characterize it. Though I've lived in parts of the US where religion does permeate the cultural consciousness, and I have no desire to return, just sayin' : )
I've never been India, but it would be a vacation of a life time kind of thing. And it's so huge, with so many different natural features. And such ancient traditions. I think it'd be totally fascinating.
