since i'm the only one to answer that the toilet paper gets rolled "backwards", i thought i'd explain why: it turns out that if we let it roll "forwards", the cat turns it into a puddle of loose tissue on the ground. but if we roll it "backwards", she can't figure it out :)

Most of the people I know who do their toilet paper "backwards" are owned by cats, or have been at some time in their recent past.
