Not sure I understand the cheese question. By tip, I am presuming you mean cutting it from one wedge shape into another wedge shape.

I'm also assuming you're cutting off a piece to eat and store the rest, not eating a wedge shape piece of cheese (if that makes sense)

Okay. So you have a wedge of Brie. Yum, yum, time to eat the Brie! Do you cut off the tip, in other words, the acute corner of the triangle? Or do you cut from the side, keeping it in a triangle?

And yes, this assumes that you're not just picking it up with your fingers to eat the whole thing. So, either you're going to eat some and store the rest, or you're sharing with your Brie-loving friends.

Answering other random questions:

[livejournal.com profile] monicaboston:"When dressing, does your top half or bottom half get clothed first?"

Personally, I put on underthings first, if I'm going to wear any, regardless of whether they go on the top or bottom. Then I dress my bottom half, then my top half.

[livejournal.com profile] tikva: "Thud or sting? ;)"

Thud!

[livejournal.com profile] artemis44: "Do you keep your flour in the freezer or the pantry?"

In the kitchen in glass jars. We freeze it first though.

[livejournal.com profile] elkor: "Do you keep socks and underwear in the same drawer?"

Yup!

[livejournal.com profile] lady_anemone: "Do you sleep on your front, your back, or your side?"

On my side.

since i'm the only one to answer that the toilet paper gets rolled "backwards", i thought i'd explain why: it turns out that if we let it roll "forwards", the cat turns it into a puddle of loose tissue on the ground. but if we roll it "backwards", she can't figure it out :)

Most of the people I know who do their toilet paper "backwards" are owned by cats, or have been at some time in their recent past.

Nalgene bottles: wide-mouth or narrow-mouth?

Wide-mouth.

in what shape do you cut your sandwiches?

I don't cut my sandwiches.

How many of you fold your clean underwear prior to putting them away?

I do! In thirds, and then in half.

Do you brush your teeth at the sink or in the shower?

At the sink.

If you moved to a space station, what 2 plants would you choose to cultivate in the hydroponics lab?

If that was my only source of fresh produce, I think it would have to be fungi and spinach.

When you finish using the toilet, do you leave it as is and flush or close the lid and flush?

Leave it as is, and flush.
