It's very surreal to be at work, knowing I only have four more days here (Monday, Wednesday, Friday next week, and Monday the following week). It makes me disinclined to do much. They're not giving me enough time to train someone and put things in order, and I don't really want to kill myself to make things work out well for people who are about to fire me. It's not exactly a big motivator, you know?

Easy to imagine that.

On the other hand, they were pretty cool with you about the last six months, no? So maybe holding that a little closer will help you find the motivation. Also, many good karma points to be had for making the life of your as-yet-unknown replacement easier, eh? Good luck though. You;re in the home stretch!

Not to mention, my boss, who as I mentioned, is a good guy, will be the most affected by what happens but didn't have very much input in the decision process (as far as I can tell). Well, except for the person they hire to replace me, who has no control whatsoever. :) So, I'm making the effort, just finding it a bit difficult.
