I forgot to mention, I cooked a great meal the other night.

We had:
- poached sole in cream sauce with white wine, leeks, and mushrooms
- baked sweet potatos
- spinach with olive oil, salt, and garlic

Totally delicious. I will have to do the sole again sometime. I think it would go wonderfully with some diced tomatos, maybe capers, and I'd like to try that next.

Food is good; fun with cooking is good.

I'd stay with last night's menu, because I don't like capers, but that's me. }:-)

It's just that the sole had a flavor that was a little stronger than I was expecting. I think something with more flavor than cream might have stood up to it better.

The cats were very excited, though. "Fish? And CREAM?? This is for us, right?"
