My 72-hour kit is now the richer by a lovely used hiking backpack, thanks to a thrift store mrpet found me. Visions of supplies are dancing in my head. Among other things, I will be putting in water, Purell, clean socks and undies for me and pet, cat food, and granola bars.

The next things on my preparedness list are a solar power/hand crank radio and emergency blankets.
