Best part: For a manners fantasy, it had more action than you would expect, and the action was compelling.
Worst part: Very twisty plot turns.

Interesting. I loved Sorcery and Cecelia or The Enchanted Chocolate Pot and thought Jonathan STrange and Mr. Norrell was vastly overrated. Now I'd like to hear your take on each of them.
