a new tutoring student
May. 17th, 2005 02:38 pmSo, last week I finally heard from my tutoring student, who I never actually met. She said she still wanted me as a tutor, but now had a job, so could only meet me after five.
I told her I couldn't. Since my job is helping women have babies, I have to have evening availability, for interviews and prenatal appointments. Obviously, I could do those appointments during the daytime, but most expectant mothers are still working. (My evenings are limited enough as it is!) I called the EMLC office and asked them to set me up with someone else.
They set me up with a man. That's not what I was hoping for, but I'll give it a try.
It's funny. I've been so busy recently, I haven't even been knitting.
