First line: "In the late afternoon of Octdi, Mykella dismounted at the base of the ramp leading to the north end of the Great Piers of Tempre."
Best part: Mykella and her sisters are very likeable characters.
Worst part: Predictable.
Grade: C+.
Recommended for: People who have wondered where to start with Modesitt.
