There was a book place. It wasn't a library, and it wasn't a bookstore. The books were all free. You didn't need to check them out. You could just bring them back whenever. I don't think they really cared if you didn't - they had multiple copies of a lot of things. It was in multiple buildings in the same area. It was run by goths.

Soundtrack to this dream: "wild, wild nights" - not the one by John Mellencamp or Van Morrison but I can't find the lyrics

The funny thing is, in the dream I wasn't all that excited about it. It ws just like, "Yeah, whatever, another day at the book place." I was thinking about all the books I already had and how maybe I shouldn't take any more.

In real life? NEVER HAPPEN. I would have been drooling at the very least, and possibly having spontaneous orgasms.

Have I proselytized to you about paperbackswap.com yet? The books aren't quite free but it's pretty damn close. Works kind of like the place in my dream.
