in my dreams it's still the same
Aug. 10th, 2008 08:32 am In the first part of my dream, a friend and I were in a ranch-style house where she lived. I was just visiting. There was some kind of horrifying virus or maybe a demon outside and we weren't supposed to go outside, but she thought her little boy might be out there. I went outside and everything was grey and dead-looking. Nothing truly bad happened in the dream but it felt very ominous.
In the second part of my dream, I was a teenage boy, probably gay but perfectly comfortable embracing celibacy, and I was about to take monk's orders. I was walking with my brother monks in the forest to where the orders would happen. The senior monk stepped around what seemed to me to be a perfectly ordinary patch of moss. He said, "It's very rare for the moss to bloom here, it only happens once in a great many years, and then it turns blue." I looked at the moss again, and sure enough, it was blue, almost neon. I couldn't see any flowers but I stepped around it. Then I woke up.
Soundtrack to these dreams: "I can't cope with that"
