Oddly Normal is the name of the protagonist of this comic. Oddly is the product of a "mixed marriage" - her father is a human, but her mother is a witch! On Oddly's tenth birthday, her parents disappear and she is mysteriously transported to the magical land of Fignation. Has she finally found the place where she can fit in?
Sadly, the answer is "no." Sorry if I'm giving away too much here, but this book hit my unfairness buttons. Oddly goes from being made fun of and beat up because she's different, to being made fun of and beat up because she's too normal. She does everything right that she could possibly do, she kicks ass and takes names, but still can't beat the villain and still winds up getting blamed for all the bad things that happened in the book, including the disappearance of her parents and the death of one of her only friends. Yup, that bugged me. A lot.
So, I can only give the book two stars. If you are not bugged by the unfairness thing the way that I am, and I'm pretty sure most people aren't, then it would be an okay choice, but I don't think it's outstanding.
