book swap July 13th
Jun. 24th, 2008 08:24 pmCome one, come all, to the greatest show on Earth!
(Okay, maybe not. How about,)
mrpet spins phat beats all night!
(Actually, it's not that either. I know, it's a bummer.)
Or you could choose what's behind door # 3 - a bookswap! Come on over to our place on Sunday, July 13th between one and four. Bring a bag of books (or two, or three) and swap 'em out for new-to-you goodies. We will be sorting by language, children's versus adults', and fiction versus non.
Q: Where is this?
A: We're in Davis Square, Somerville. If you're not sure of the address, send me an email. ladyanemone at gmail dot com.
Q: Who can come?
A: Anybody. You don't have to know us, we don't have to get along if you do. Yes, you can bring friends and sweeties.
Q: How about kids?
A: Sure, but our house isn't even a little bit childproof and you will need to be responsible for your kid at all times.
Q: Can I drop my books off beforehand?
A: That is totally encouraged. You can set up a specific time with me or put them on our porch - it's roofed.
Q: Do you need any help?
A: So glad you asked! We'll need folks to help us sort books and set up, folks to keep things running smoothly during the event, and at least two people to do charity dropoffs afterwards. Leave a comment if you can give us a hand!
Q: What will happen to the leftover books?
A: We will donate them to charity, probably the Prison Book Project.
Hope to see lots of you then!
