Behind the cut, you will find pictures of all my recently completed yarn projects.

Finished blanket Finished blanket

It took me about three months to make this. The most annoying part was sewing it together, which took about three weeks.

Jim's scarf Jim's scarf

You may not be able to tell from the picture, but it's ten feet long. [livejournal.com profile] knittingmonster blocked it for me, primarily because she's a goddess.

Beret from Crochet Partners Beret from Crochet Partners

This is the beret that I was talking about a few posts ago. I added the tuft myself.

Julia's Hat, Draft One Julia's Hat, Draft One

This is a picture of the hat I crocheted for Julia, without really using a pattern. It looks like it's huge, and it is pretty big, but Julia has a pretty big head. Maybe because she's so smart.

I realize the HTML in there is a little messy. It's been a while. Next time I'll find out how many of those tags are redundant when there's more than one picture...

Wow.

That blanket is gorgeous. (The other stuff is cool too, but the purples!) I'm impressed by those who can make such things; it's a useful skill, but it's more than that when what you create is beautiful.

Thanks! The blanket did come out very very well. :) I'll be happy to show it to you the next time you're in town...

The blanket is very pretty, but the scarf is my favorite.

I have to admit, the scarf was kind of a pain in the ass. It was the only object that I didn't enjoy making the whole way through. The pattern was very simple, so I had it mastered quickly, and after a while of that went by, it got very boring.
I am currently working on a matching hat.

That's a pity, that you didn't enjoy it. I usually find repetative tasks to be soothing in a medatative kind of way. C'est la vie.

Wow. I'm not a knitter, but I have a vague understanding that a whole lot of work went into that, due to my friends [livejournal.com profile] dee_cee and [livejournal.com profile] badseed1980, who are knitaholics. [livejournal.com profile] dee_cee, in particular, would go nutty over the purples in the blanket. She was looking to get a part-time job as a knit instructor at some new craft store opening in Davis--do you know about it? I can't remember the name.

Your html is beautiful - wonderfully thorough. You could've skipped all but the first <table> and last </table> if you wanted to but then you would've had to do other things to add the vertical spacing between the images if that was intentional.

I particularly like the scarf and the beret. [livejournal.com profile] cathijosephine’s teaching me to crochet! I’ve got a long way to go, but maybe eventually I’ll be able to make hats and blankets and things. Yay!

We'll make a bag next, and after that you're ready to make anything you want.

My favorite is definitely the giant purple blanket that fits everyone!
