First, let me mention that I recently had a dream about watching a new episode of CSI: Miami. That's how much I want it, okay? Now you know.
This week I have Stargate: SG1 Season 7 out of the library. I decided that I wanted to watch it until it came out my ears. I've just really been craving Stargate recently. Extensive testing has found the following: after watching four episodes in one twenty-four hour period, I am mildly disinclined to watch more, but it doesn't actually come out of my ears.
This morning, while in the car with
mrpet we were chatting about music. I mentioned that for some reason, when I play Bill Staines on Winamp - he's a favorite folk artist of mine - it gives me the cover art for Disintegration from the Cure. We then speculated on what it would be like if one of them covered the other.
me: "Well, I guess I could see the Cure covering one of his "heartbreak on the road" tunes, like 'Lady in Montana.' 'I love you, but I love her more, so I'm leaving!'"
mrpet: "I could see it going the other way too. Bill Staines could cover the Cure. Like Johnny Cash doing Nine Inch Nails."
me: "Not good enough. You have to say what track he would cover!"
mrpet: "10:15 on a Saturday Night!"
both: collapse into giggles
