Warrior and Witch by Marie Brennan
Aug. 13th, 2007 12:37 pmThis book was the sequel to Doppleganger, which I had liked a great deal.
I enjoyed this book very much, also. I felt that the beginnings of the plot were somewhat contrived. However, the rest of the book more than made up for it. Unlike many books, it got better as it went along. Also, the cover did not give as much away. The only other thing I didn't like about it was that it didn't seem to leave much room for another sequel. But then, I hadn't thought that the first book did, either, so maybe that won't be a problem. Four stars. I look forward to Brennan's next book, Midnight Never Come, not in this series, which stands to be published next year.
