Remember this?

Not only did I not have to go and threaten to have loud sex every day. But, actually, I left a bouquet of flowers and a thank-you note for that hardworking mom. That toddler has only been giggling for the past few days.

The lady at the flower store thought that was so nice, she gave me a flower of my own. Yup. I got positive reinforcement for my positive reinforcement. And so, I tell all my friends - go to Flowers on the Ave!

Presumably, the parents used some sort of positive reinforcemnet themselves . . .

. . . So this is your positive reinforcement of the store's positive reinforcement of your positive reinforcement of the parents' positive reinforcement?

And if I say, "Hey, nice move!" is that my positive reinforcement of your positive reinforcement . . .

Definitely! If they had reinforced that behavior in ANY way, I'm sure she'd still be screaming at this very moment.

Oh, yeah. :) Actually, one of my favorite things about positive reinforcement is that it begets more positive reinforcement. :)
