I'm trying to remember. I've been sewing things for years and years. My first corset is a red velvet one that I made just after I got my purple velvet underbust from The Other Women. My guess is slightly after you guys started. I finally got the methods all worked out to make them quicker and wrinkle free. Did you check out the pics (http://www.curiouscouture.com) of the other ones that I have made? Esp the black and white striped one with matching hat (http://www.curiouscouture.com/designs.html?bnw_white.html;)?
I'm also DJing (http://www.getdjpet.com), you still spinning? I've been mostly doing private parties but I have done a few large events like the Flea and The Burning Beach Ball.
i browsed through the whole site, in fact -- the corsets look great! i really love the pink outfit, actually. here's the one i recently made for myself, (my first corset in many years, admittedly) with a matching lace-trimmed collar -- i've been doing a lot of sewing lately on my old singer, though mostly just for myself.
i was DJing on and off in SF, though not at my own night. being a full-time graduate student in SoCal has distracted me from a lot of things, i'm afraid. then again, most of the music i like these days isn't super dancey (downtempo IDM/noise), and i'm not yet up to teaching myself to spin breaks :P.
