Last night,
mrpet was nice enough to pick up some fish for me to eat. Cooking yourself a fancy lunch and eating it with delight is a great way to get through a cranky-at-the-world day.
Lunch was this recipe from epicurious.com. I did not follow the recipe religiously but it came out unlike anything I've made before. So that was neat. I tend to get in a rut with cooking fish (orange/balsamic glaze for salmon, white sauce for haddock, white wine, lemon juice, and capers for sole) so it was nice to make something out of the ordinary for me.
I didn't have sugar-snap peas, so I did garlic green beans instead.
I'm thinking about doing some more cooking tonight - if I do, I think I'll make a green stir-fry with citrus, walnuts, and some sort of protein.
