They all seem very important when you don't have any.

Laid awake last night for no apparent reason. No nightmares, no anxiety, no physical ailments. I got plenty of excercise yesterday and had no caffeine, alcohol, or suspicious foods. I just woke up at two-thirty and couldn't go back to sleep.

The other day [livejournal.com profile] bryghtrose and I were talking about the cycle of insomnia. How you don't sleep, and then you don't have the energy to do anything the next day, and then you don't sleep again. Hopefully I won't get stuck in that trap this time.

Much sympathy -- I had a similar experience on Thursday night. Something in the air, maybe?

Funny thing about that... I seem to suffer from a perpetual lack of all three, these days. :-(

Exercise a bit - that'll help you sleep normally the next night.

That's the theory I use. But I did excercise yesterday, so who knows.
