bryghtrose and I went to Windsor Button together.
I was... somewhat restrained. I got what I was planning to get, which was yarn to make the miniskirt version of the skirt in Cozy Crochet. (I had to estimate the amount of yarn I need, but hopefully it will work out.)bryghtrose also got me hooked on some baby alpaca, which I ended up buying three balls of and am thinking of making myself a colorwork hat with. Somehow I've managed to lose two hats this winter already.
I also got the size 15 dpns I'll need to make the piping for my initial bag. (I'll have to come up with something else I can use them for later. More felting, I guess?)
In other news - I am making great progress on the punk rock wristwarmers I'm doing formichellemybell. That is the last explicitly winter-y project I had to make, so my timing is working out pretty well. If I make the hat for myself, that will be one more.
But after that, I am making socks for my sister. I am making kneesocks for myself. I am finishing the shawl forbryghtrose, and I am doing several bags. That is as far as I have planned ahead. Well, that and the skirt, which I think I'll start after I finish the shawl. I like to have one big project to work on at home at a time.
