I recently got very excited when I saw that the library had ordered a copy of the new graphic novel Lost Girls. When I was there picking up my books yesterday, my favorite librarian told me that that branch (in Brookline) had decided not to get it after all, because it was "too graphic." Pooh! Has anyone bought a copy that I could borrow?

Well, I'm sure you know you can do this, but I'll comment anyway. It says that the Copley/main library has two copies on order, so once they're in you can place a hold--in fact you might be able to place a hold now. When you do this, you can specify that it be delivered to your branch for you. :) I find that particular part very cool.

That of course doesn't solve the problem of how you expected to get it sooner... much suckage. I *wish* I had a copy to lend. *grin*
