laundry and love

7j and I pet her for about an hour. That seemed like a good sign. I woke up at some point during the night and heard purring. She was asleep on my dirty laundry. Aww!! So cute. If it hadn't been four am, I would've taken a picture.
When I woke up, she was back in the windowsill.
Soon we will be taking her back to the vet to have her stitches out. She will then get to have the cone removed from her head, and life can return to normal.
