kitchen purge

movieguy13_5 and I cleaned the kitchen. Like, in a spring cleaning kind of way. It took pretty much the whole day, from ten until four. Alcohol was also required. It was hard work, extremely messy, and extremely satisfying. The kitchen is now reorganized. The counters are clear. We can find the food we have. There are no more science experiments in the fridge.
It is great to do something like this two years in a row. Last year, I did it withmichellemybell, and there were things that I chose not to throw out then. When I saw some of the same things this year, I didn't hesitate to pitch them.
movieguy13_5 was great. He was very encouraging when I started feeling overwhelmed, and we just kept on trucking until it was done.
I feel very pleased with myself.
