drinking your breakfast

Today for breakfast I had a smoothie. It was fresh orange honeydew, fresh local cherries, almond butter, lowfat vanilla yogurt, limeade, and frozen blueberries. It was really yummy.
I wish that I had considered the possibilitiy of making a smoothie before I ate a bananna as a first course to my breakfast, but it all wound up in the same place - my tummy!
As a note, the plan of my making food from farmshare vegetables every week and writing about it here was cancelled, for the reason that we no longer have a farmshare. Long story. Anyway, I plan to be patronizing the Davis Square farmer's market on a regular basis, and cooking with that stuff instead. I have a green bean salad in the making, for starters. Also, I need to check on my bag of delicious organic mesclun, and see if it's still going strong or if it needs to be replaced. We shall see.
