garment district!
Feb. 26th, 2006 01:10 amOh, the lovely biannual sale again. Glee! (If you haven't been, they're open later today as well.)
I am now the proud owner of...
- A pair of yummy grey slacks with pink pinstripes, new
- A black Dickies tote bag with pink piping, new
- A soft black shrug, which I will be able to wear with all those black babydoll Tshirts and sexy tank tops in a few months.
- A bluish-purple shirt with three-quarter sleeves which can be worn under a sweater or by itself and is very fetching.
- Just one all-wool sweater to frog. It's soft and pretty. Sort of a pale green with yellow highlights.
- A super-soft navy blue Ralph Lauren shirt, to wear to bed and under sweaters. (This shirt is even more awesome then I initially realized. I had assumed it was used, it didn't have tags on it. When I tried it on in the dressing room, it was too big for me, but close to what I was looking for, so I bought it anyway and - it shrunk in the wash. A cotton shirt marked "machine wash, tumble dry." In other words, it was never washed before, and also, now it fits just right!)
- Just what I've been needing all winter - warm black Thinsulate gloves, which were $2, which
starkeymonster pointed out to me.
Whee!
Also, I was very happy to find things for my darling co-conspirators - a black velvet shirt and bright purple kneesocks for
starkeymonster, and bright red tights with a barbed-wire pattern for
mrpet.
