I have never seen Battlestar Galactica.

I mean, at all. Not the first movie, not the new series. Just never.

So. Does anyone have it for me to borrow? Would anyone like to watch it with me?

Warning: it will trigger you, especially bits of the second season.

Also, I suppose it's good if you like unrelenting darkness, camera work that is obsessed with its own artiness and very, very pretty people.

I know lots of people like it, but there's more to it than "it's a good show."

If you're going to watch it, I wouldn't recommend doing it all in one sitting. More than an episode or two at a time is liable to be an overwhelming amount of depressing for anyone who's sensative to that sort of thing. I can barely watch a full episode - I usually stop halfway through for a "happiness break."

It is definitely a watch a single episode at a time show. It's an amazing show, and I think hopeful in certain ways, but it is hopefulness after amazing levels of despair and despondency.

Once I foolishly tried to watch 3 episodes in a row to catch up. I punked out after the second episode because I was feeling weepy.

It is worth mentioning a friend of mine coined the phrase "Starbuck just made me gay" (that is Starbuck in my icon)
