I went to go and read the crochet community, which I sometimes do, and found that it had been deleted.

The whole thing. Deleted. Gosh.

Apparently a bunch of splinter communities have jumped up in its wake, and some people are talking about child pornography and CPS, and I'm so confused. I just... like reading about people's crochet projects, and asking questions and stuff.

It's a little hard to tell where to go, but polite_crochet seems promising. Crocheting Friends, what are you doing?

So far I haven't joined any other crochet communities. I poked around on pc a bit when it first showed up and it was mostly just bashing the crochet community for all the rudeness that happens there, but I imagine now that crochet's gone polite_crochet will probably get more useful.

I'd love to know which ones you look into and what you think of them
