another chair update
Jan. 31st, 2005 02:43 pmMy chair odyssey is complete! Whee! Yay for the happy chair!
I used the dustbuster and the upholstery cleaner to good advantage. Then I discovered my secret weapon. My lint brush. I lint brushed it vigorously which made more of a difference than any of the other things I had tried.
Then I successfully got the chair in position in my room, without even having to take my bedroom door off its hinges, which we had originally thought would have to happen.
And finally, I found a light red flannel sheet we had gotten at Goodwill to use on our massage table. It has been hanging around in the living room closet since we realized that flannel sheets and massage oil don't mix. It was just the right size and color, and has a wonderful texture to feel against your skin.
Now I am going to get off the computer and go read, and write, in my chair. Yay, chair!
