a tasty summer lunch

Today at the farmer's market, I got some heirloom tomatos and slicing cucumbers. I put them in a bowl with Greek dressing, some sweet onion, a small amount of spicy red pepper, and half a crisp apple. I had bakery bread with artichoke pesto on the side. Yum!!

Today Suzuki came and sat in my lap for half an hour. There was much head-butting, licking, and purring. Yay!

I guess this means she's forgiven me for vet-related indignities. Which is good, since we will have to take her back there in two weeks.
