I'm about to have a busy day, and I don't really want one. Sigh. And yesterday was like that too.

Anyway, two of the three roommate interviews went really well. Both of the two were very interested. One of the two moved himself to the top of the list by offering to give us a check right now (he said this via email after he left the apartment). I wrote back and said that if he does that, he can have the room, because that would be awesome. It would be awesome to have that stress be over. He seems very responsible, he's queer, and he's interested in our freaky lifestyle. *grin* We will see.

If that doesn't happen, it seems pretty clear that the other person will still want to move in. He, like me, is on disability for PTSD, and liked the idea of living with people who have a clue about that. He was really interesting, I enjoyed talking to him a lot. They both seemed really good in different ways, so I'm cool with either.

So hopefully, this will be resolved by the end of the week. That would make the Honey very, very relieved. Once it's all done, I want to invite everyone who looked at the room to a party. We've had a lot of really cool people be interested.

Last night I went to the Fat Bottom Revue with [livejournal.com profile] starkeymonster, and it just plain rocked. Everyone who wasn't there should regret it. I think my favorite was the song, "Big Fat Mamas are Back In Style," done by an artist named Revolution who was wearing something white and feathery. She was modestly proportioned on top, but had one of the biggest, juiciest, most delicious-looking asses I have ever seen in my life. I was completely transfixed. She had a lower back tattoo, as well, which I find sooo sexy. And events of all types should have drag kings as emcees, it's very easy for them to keep my interest. *grin* Y'all should see it the next time it's in town.

Edit: new roommate Matt says he will come by tonight to drop off the check. Rock rock ROCK!!!

I'm just curious - does anybody else really dislike doctor and dentist appointments, and feel very anxious before and during them?

It's not that I'm really worried they're going to find something awful. It's more that I hate people poking around my body when I'm only in control to the extent that I can choose to show up or not show up. I don't like being touched by strangers.

I wish that medical care was more like consensual BDSM, with negotiation and checking in and aftercare.
