I'm at the halfway point on my walk today. I walked to Spy Pond, and then to the Arlington PL for a bathroom break, drink of water, and internet access. It's funny thinking about how the halfway point has changed, and when I feel like I need a break. Today I didn't feel tired, I just wanted to change my water situation.

I took pictures for about the first half of the walk, then the camera quit working. "I spit on your cheap batteries!" it said. I will upload the best ones when I get home.

The leaves are still gorgeous for the first half of the walk. The trees around the pond are mostly brown now. But I'm okay with that.

Apparently, there is a "friends of spy pond park" group. They have a webpage here. That's neat. I read a new informational sheet today, about why the park has been being re-landscaped. It seems that too many trees had their roots exposed from people and animals walking on them.

Anyhow. Time to keep walking! I'll see how far I get today. :)
