Yesterday I was the Official Futzer at a lovely wedding.

I laced the bride into her corset, draped her shawl appealingly, arranged her wreath, and made her skirt lie down properly. I also futzed on the maid of honor (who I almost was, at the last minute) and the best man. I insisted that the newlyweds eat. I received, in return for all this, kisses and gratitude from the bride and groom, as well as a lovely green scarf.

starkeymonster futzed further on the best man and also fixed some food-related issues at the reception.

They had Honey-safe dessert. Very thoughtful.

Every time that mrpet and I go to a wedding, it gives me warm fuzzies AND I'm so glad that my wedding is already done.

Anyway, the bride and groom looked gorgeous and blissful - what more could you want?

I have exactly the same response to weddings. Before we got married, I never had much feeling for them one way or the other, but now, I get a little bit mushy.
