"Transamorous," or "transam," meaning folks who are attracted to transfolks.

I've been wanting a word for us!

This was mentioned at the Transgender Sexualities workshop, led by Helen Boyd and her husband Betty.

Also, some trans folks call themselves transensual. Transam is nice because as far as I know it's not a trans identity label itself.

I always liked "transsensual" for those people.

Although there are also some transfolk who get creeped out by transamorous/transsensual folk. I'm not one, but the basic logic is "if you're interested because I'm trans, you're obviously not seeing me as a real (man/woman), and i don't like being objectified."

I like transamorous.
