hurricane stuff behind the cut, please?
Sep. 8th, 2005 01:21 pmI know that the hurricane has had a huge impact on everybody's life. But at a certain point, the data gets overwhelming. When it gets overwhelming, it stops being useful.
If you're posting about hurricane stuff (be it benefits, links to info, new news, etc) could you please put it behind the cut? If you are already doing this, then you rock.
Thanks,
-H

Date: 2005-09-09 11:32 am (UTC)I have this assumption that it's always okay to ask for what you want, and always okay for people to say no. I expected a lot of people to say no to my request but didn't expect the level of hostility with which they would do so.
I'm not taking people off my Friends list because of this issue, but I am creating a new read filter for a while until things die down. I mostly wrote this because I figured that not everyone would consider the impact of contributing to Katrina inundation, which right now is pretty much everywhere.
