books I'm currently reading
Dec. 15th, 2004 11:04 amFirst of all, if you haven't already, check out my guide to advanced pagan books on amazon.com. If that's your sort of thing, I mean. My username there is honeyb956.
Now then. I'm currently exploring:
Women's Work: The first 20,000 years by Elizabeth Wayland Barber.
bryghtrose lent me this, and it's really awesome. A fascinating exploration of the history of textiles and women's roles in relationship to them.
Earth Time, Moon Time by Annette Hinshaw. Interesting guide to self-exploration based on the lunar calendar. I'm going to be using this for a long time.
The Stupidest Angel by Christopher Moore. Just finished it last night. Christmas books never end the way I want them to. Why did the zombies have to die? I liked the zombies!
_Stitch and Bitch: The Knitter's Guide_ by Debbie Stoller continues to be intensely fabulous. I am going to make about a dozen projects from that book. I only wish I could find a single book on crochet with a quarter of the fabulousness of this book.
