tsuj, who with skill of hand and might of mind has won the Emily Bethke Crafter Award! She was shortlisted for this Harry Potter fandom honor before leaving for Infinitus, and asked to create a piece with the theme The Houses United, with an accompanying essay on the topic of "Why I Craft Harry." The fabric chimera she made to be the Hogwarts Quidditch mascot was a marvel to behold. I am not at all surprised that she carried off the laurels!
The prize included a $300 honorarium, a special VIP tour of Hogwarts, a handmade award, and bragging rights. Congratulations! I hope we'll be seeing pictures soon!
