There is a new construction project going on near our house. Or at least, a new guy on an old construction project. He only has one volume, and that volume is loud. Every third sentence ends in, "Y'know what I mean?" If whoever he's talking to doesn't immediately agree, he gets more agitated. "Y'KNOW WHAT I'M SAYIN'? YOU HEAR ME? YOU GET ME RIGHT??" and onwards until he gets satisfaction.

It's exhausting.

I'd be awfully tempted to throw open a window and shout back, "Yes I can hear you -- and so can half the neighborhood!" :)
