Best part: The heroine, Annja, does kick some butt.
Worst part: She's also kind of, well, dumb.

Recommended for: Those wanting an uncomplicated diverting read.
Related Reads: I'm reluctant to compare this to books I like. But maybe The Eight by Katherine Neville, though it's nowhere near as complex or engrossing.
