I'm perhaps equal parts relieved and excited. :) Until we have the common house it's going to be hard to know what the community really feels like, but in terms of individual space it's great.

I've been really tied into it, so my expectations have evolved - here and there i get surprised. Super insulation? Really is. No, really. Painted plywood floors in a very light color? Bad plan in a high traffic area.

You recently got a new job, and then things unexpectedly got a lot more challenging. I think in your position I would be thinking something along the lines of, "This is what happens when you come out of your cave! I am never coming out of my cave again!" Are you still glad you got the job? Do you want to keep it?
