I have been wanting to do a healing arts intensive class with Sylvia Braillier. Some of you may know her from classes and workshops at Rites of Spring. She is a wonderful energyworker and shamanic practitioner. She has asked me if I would be willing to co-sponsor a class for her in the Boston area. This mainly entails finding people who want to participate.
The class would be the weekend of June 17th. It would be three days long. It would cost $200 per person. (This is is high because of Sylvia's plane fare from California and the small size of the class - around fifteen people.) It would be held at Dreamwheel in Concord.
I need to get an initial "reality check" to see if people that I know would be interested in taking this class, before I make a decision about whether to cosponsor it. Please comment if you would be interested. This does not represent a commitment - I just want to find out if there's enough interest to try to put it together.
There are several different possibilities for the class, but my guess is that it's most likely we would be doing Vibrational Healing I & II. Here are descriptions:
Vibrational Healing I
Through vibrational medicine, it is possible to transform physical
emotional, mental and spiritual well being, returning the whole person to a
state of health and balance.
This course teaches the practitioner how to perceive and transform the
bio-electrical field surrounding and interpenetrating the body. Vibrational
Healing I will focus on the development of perceptual skills, and assist the
practitioner to develop subtle body diagnostic skills. You will receive and
introduction to energy body anatomy. We will focus predominantly on the
energy vortexes of the chakras as an approach to understanding the
mechanisms of the human energy field. You will learn essential skills for
maintaining and heightening the integrity of your own energetic body
before, during and after working with others.
In Vibrational Healing I, you will also receive an introduction to dynamic
energy healing techniques, which will give you tools to actively transform
the energy body, thus assisting the transformation of a person's complete
health.
Vibrational Healing II
In Vibrational Healing II, you will learn more advanced techniques of
dynamic energy medicine, as well as continue to develop your perceptual
skills. When these techniques are applied properly, the recipient will often
have tangible sensations during the work and strong positive results from
the healing session. Topics will include manipulation of the auric body,
releasing blockages in the energetic system, focused directing of life
force energy, negative energy extraction, using breath in conjunction with
energetic modalities, advanced chakric analysis, as well as how to seal ,
heal and maintain the integrity of the energy body.
This link will give you a list of more of Sylvia's class offerings with descriptions. If you would take one of those, but not Vibrational Healing, please say so.
Your comments are very much appreciated.

Date: 2005-04-29 02:16 am (UTC)Can either of you tell me how these Vibrational Healing courses differ from Reiki? Because I'm thinking if they are similar, and I can take Reiki locally for a much cheaper price, then I'm definitely more interested in some of the other courses.
Also, if it's to be a three-day weekend, will I have to take a day off work?
