new TV shows

So, I want to mention that I am digging Sanctuary a lot, although some of the tagging and bagging of "abnormals" even though they are sentient makes me a bit uncomfortable. (It feels imperialist to me - we the privileged rich straight white people with advanced degrees travel the globe to bring curiosities and savages back to our laboratory... but I'm not assuming that they're not going to address that issue explicitly later.) I have watched all the webisodes and the two new episodes and I think they're quite good. I like the changes they made to the plot between the webisodes and the TV stuff so far.



I started watching True Blood for reasons that... would sound very weird if I explained them to you, so I won't. Boy, is that show graphic. But so far I like it. I like Anna Paquin a lot, and it's sexy, and funny, and feels gritty and real and Southern. I'm a fan.

trouble4hire feels that Middleman is the new black, so I decided to give it a try. It's pretty funny, I feel, but I haven't decided how far I'm going to go with it yet.

I am still undecided about whether to watch Fringe. And I am still waiting for some more new episodes of Eureka, which continues to be a show I really enjoy.

I've been watching True Blood online, and I like that one a lot. I've also seen Fringe a couple of times (one of the few new American shows being shown in Sweden, most of the American shows on TV here are a year or two behind), and I think it could be interesting. Although the stereotype of the crazy scientist with unlimited resources to do secret, dangerous experiments is annoying to me as a non-crazy scientist with very limited resources. :)
