boot lust

I saw these boots on zappo's:

They're so hot. I'm having big boot lust. But they don't have my size. Oh, the sadness.

Then I read the reviews, which said they were cheap knockoffs, and Corcoran's were better. These ones are relatively close in style:

and, they have women's sizes... but of course they cost twice as much. *sigh* Plus, I liked the style of the 3rd Watch pair, with the contrasting leather - the Corcoran's are Cordura in places.

But anyhow. I was good and got myself nice, reliable Docs... although I probably wouldn't have if they had the 3rd Watch in my size.

Corcoran boots are really good but I would also suggest Altama which I have had lots of success with and will be my next pair of sturdy workhorse black boots. They are generally a good bit less expensive than Corcoran boots.
