The Color of Magic. Surely You're Joking, Mr. Feynman! Erotica Vampirica. Chicken Licken. 501 Spanish Verbs. Then She Found Me. What to Expect When You're Expecting. In Defense of Food. The Tale of Peter Rabbit. A Scanner Darkly. You: On a Diet. Wildly Foxtrot. The Amber Spyglass. Running with Scissors. Smoke and Mirrors.

We have already had hundreds of books dropped off at our home, including all of the above. We have fiction, nonfiction, and children's books already here. We have also confirmed dropoffs with the two fabulous charities we will be donating to this year - More Than Words, a non-profit youth-run bookstore offering free job training and creative opportunites, and the Prison Book Program, which sends free books to inmates all over the US. This is shaping up to be one of our best swaps yet. Won't you join us?

The swap will be on Sunday from one to four, in a private home in Davis Square. There is no charge to get in but you should bring one to three bags of books. To get more details, including the address of the book swap, leave a comment with your email address or send email to ladyanemone at gmail dot com.

I would definitely like to come! Will the Brodester be problematic in your house? I can try to find a sitter and cane it if necessary, but if not, great.

I would definitely like you to come! :) As to Brody, I guess it depends - how is she around cats? We have two, and I'm not yet sure whether they will be out during the swap.

If she loves to chase cats, a sitter is probably indicated (I can just imagine the careening piles of books that would result!). If she's mellow about them, as I imagine is more likely, then it shouldn't be a problem.

She would be on-leash the whole time, but she does adore cats, and unfortunately, her fuzzy fuzzy love is generally unrequited. ;) She'd probably try to sing them sad poodle songs. I'll see who wants a pup for the afternoon. *heh*

Oh dear oh dear. :( I think only one of my cats has ever met a dog, so yeah, that could cause problems.

There is a chance that we may have the swap outside, or pen the cats up for the occaision - if that happens, do you want me to call you? If so, just drop me an email with your phone number.

I tried to send you an email this morning, but maybe it didn't go through? Since it's so nice out, we are going to have the swap outside, so it should be okay to bring her if you want to.

Oh, thanks! My e-mail is being wonktastic, so I can't get to it right now. Should make it easy to find the place, though. ;) Thank you so much!
