No Baggage

The dream began with some fragmentary stuff about a wine tasting in a fancy hotel in Paris. I was wearing a sparkly dress and things were festive. But I was concerned that the wine might have been fined with eggs - did anyone know? Was it safe for me to drink?
Then I was shopping by myself, I was looking at expensive clothes and things and I was carrying a bunch of bags. There were super-pretty conventional-looking French women around, and they were saying catty things about me. I felt a bit insecure, but kept it to myself. Then I found out that my plane was leaving - from inside the mall - and I hurried to get on it. I was worried that I would miss it. They let me on even though I didn't have a ticket, a wallet, or any money. I also had no luggage - it was back at my hotel.
mrpet joined me on the plane. He called the hotel and the airline and arranged for my luggage to be delivered to Boston. Something went wrong, though, and we wound up in a rural part of the US which was not our destination - near a log cabin by a lake. Not a problem, posited my spouse, we can just sell your body to make enough money to get new tickets to Boston. (In real life, he would never do this, of course. First of all, he would have made the airline behave, because his bureaucracy-foo is terrific. Second of all, we have credit cards.) I accepted this. (Also wouldn't happen in real life.) Two johns in suits came to our cabin. One was thin and youngish, the other was older and stout. My plan was to hit them over the head and take their wallets.
Additionally, my subconscious heeded my request, and the soundtrack to last night's dream was Unwritten, which is one of my favorite songs.
Once again, I noticed a moment of panic when I woke up and didn't know what I had dreamed, and then once I calmed down I realized that I did know, in a more stable way than I used to. When I started writing these down, I had to think hard at the very instant I woke up, and run to the computer to write it down, and now I don't. I'm not sure I can explain it better than that.
dreamsigns: object place (plane leaving from inside mall), character action 2x, setting place 2x, ego action
