I have been wanted to read this ever since I read Poppy Done to Death about a month ago. This is the first in the Aurora Teagarden series, which takes place in the small town of Laurenceton, Georgia.

Aurora Teagarden is a simple librarian. She is a loyal friend, sister, and daughter. In her spare time, she manages townhouses owned by her mother. She has just one hobby - the Real Murders club. Its members meet once a month to discuss famous murder cases in history. Aurora's big night has come - it is her turn to share her research with the group. She has been studying the Wallace murder. But so has someone else, with a much darker purpose...

I enjoyed this book. Although I found the characters less distinct than they were in the ninth volume, it was a lot of fun to imagine how they'll get from point A to point B. This is definitely a series to read for the characters, and I imagine I'll keep going. Three stars.
