Life in the Third Degree by Lorna Tedder
May. 29th, 2008 11:37 amThis book is a collection of short essays by Lorna Tedder, written for her blog Supergirl@40, in the year after her divorce. I have a saved search on paperbackswap.com, for books pertaining to paganism, and this was one of the books that popped up on it. The essays are wide ranging in topic - parenting, divorce, emotional abuse, losing loved ones, betrayal, career choices...
I liked the book, but I feel Tedder wasted energy by trying to make each essay have a revelation at the end. Life doesn't fit into boxes so neatly. Three stars - worth a read if you're interested in the topics, and especially if you're a divorced pagan.
