Have you a favorite guilty pleasure? Or, does the idea of a "guilty pleasure" seem unpleasant to you?

I'm okay with guilty pleasures. My favorite is probably CSI: Miami (or really, TV in general). I enjoy CSI: Miami unreasonably. I know it's not well-written, only fairly acted, several of the characters really annoy me and the plot arcs of the last few years have been a bit pathetic. But still... but still. I love to watch it. I plan out the time that I will watch the new episodes and I talk to the TV even if I'm all by myself. I love it!
I loved this week's episode, too - the team investigates a bride killed at her wedding, which reminds Horatio of his wife getting shot at THEIR wedding, and you can see the pain in his face - but they don't indulge in any flashbacks, and he doesn't say anything about her. Subtle! So damned good.
A related guilty pleasure is reading CSI: Miami slash, especially Horatio/Speed slash by BJ Jones. (Interested parties can find some here. Yes, this is slash with a character that died several seasons ago. I know this. I don't care. They were so perfect for each other! But it does make me feel just a tiny bit silly or obsessed.

What makes this a guilty pleasure, besides the sense that it's really just not that high-quality? I don't think that the popular media are especially good for me, if you know what I mean. Good for my self-esteem or my ideas of what I should spend money on or any of that. But when the time is right, I do enjoy them, even to the point of wiggling my toes.

And now, off to watch some TV.
