A Lick of Frost by Laurell K Hamilton
Nov. 14th, 2007 03:12 pmOh, Hamilton, what depths you sink to.
I don't mean that. I really don't. Micah was so much worse. But basically this is Faery Porn. If that works for you, then great. If you're looking for substance, you're in the wrong section. I was actually rather surprised when the book started developing a plot unexpectedly near the end. Still, it's good fun. Two and a half stars.
On the other hand, I was unable to finish The Godmother by Carrie Adams. I read the first eighty pages, and then I realized that I didn't like where the book was going and I wasn't enjoying it at all. So I stopped. (Do you ever stop books before you're done?
